Tootling Tootles

Have you ever wanted to travel across the world like Flat Stanley or Flat Jack? Well, that’s what Mr. Tootles is doing! He is visiting schools all across the U.S. and throughout the world. Mr. Tootles and the Tootling Tootles project wants to teach children in all 50 states and across the globe that reading and learning can be fun, magical and exciting! Kids learning about other children, cultures and their communities are also part of the Tootling Tootles mission.

WHAT IS TOOTLING TOOTLES?

Tootling Tootles is an online adventure for kids worldwide, bringing together children of all backgrounds and nationalities. Those who choose to participate in the Tootling Tootles program will receive a package containing all the items needed to begin some exciting activities to share with Mr. Tootles and his teatime pals.

Principals, librarians, teachers, parents, and especially children will meet new friends while sharing in this experience together. They will follow Mr. Tootles’ travels on a special online map as he tootles across the U.S. and other countries around the world. Friends with a secret Username and Password will get to read the Tootling Tootles journal and participate in the Tootling Tootles blog by journaling their own experiences—all the while keeping track of the travels and their new friends.

These travels will teach about the magic of reading, sharing, friendship, geography, community, and even Internet blogging (with an adult!).

If you choose to participate in the Tootling Tootles program, your participating school will receive a free autographed book (yours to keep!) from Tootle Time Publishing.
